“We are really excited for everyone to join us for our grand opening celebration,” said Buff Weaver, the general manager of Koa’s Seaside Grill, in a company statement. “We aim to make Koa’s Seaside Grill a place where everyone can relax at this incredible Lahaina location on the water while enjoying great food at reasonable prices. The Koa’s team wants all that join us to feel like a guest in our home.”

Started by Maui restaurateurs Jerry and Lucy Corson, Koa’s Seaside Grill is located at 839 Front Street in the old Lahaina Mai Tai Lounge location. The Corsons are also the owners of a popular breakfast spot, The Gazebo restaurant in Napili, and have brought the entire breakfast menu to Koa’s.

Lunch will be offered from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will items such as pulled pork sandwiches, fish and chips, a meatloaf sandwich, specialty salads, oysters on the half shell, steamer clams, baked brie and fruit, calamari strips, and much more.

Koa’s Seaside Grill’s will also offer a dinner service the features three types of fresh fish, filet mignon, salt roasted prime rib, seafood pastas, meat loaf, scallops, scampi, and more.

A happy hour will be hosted daily from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and offer meatloaf sliders and “street tacos,” both for $6, and $2 off glassed wine, draft beer, and well drinks.

“We wanted to bring some of the Gazebo food and love to this prime Front Street ocean side location. We could only do this with the help and guidance of our managing partner and general manager, Buff Weaver,” explained owner Jerry Corson. “Between my wife Lucy, Buff and myself we have over 35 years of experience bringing good grinds to Maui locals and visitors. We’re excited to take on Front Street and offer this incredible location for guests to enjoy.”
