The accident has since been cleared. Motorists can expect slight delays as traffic resumes its normal flow.

Motorists traveling on the Honoapiʻilani Highway (30) are advised of a delay in travel due to a single-car accident reported about a half-hour ago near McGregor Point in Maʻalaea.

Officials say police are on scene, as well as a tow-truck crew.

The road remains open, however traffic was reported to be at a standstill at around 1:45 p.m. on Thursday, July 13.

Motorists can expect delays as the vehicle involved is removed from the scene and traffic resumes its normal flow.
