The National Weather Service has issued a small craft advisory until 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, for Māʻalaea Bay on Maui, the Pailolo Channel between Maui and Molokaʻi, Hawaiʻi Island leeward and southeast waters, and the ʻAlenuihāhā Channel between Hawaiʻi and Maui.

Forecasters from the NWS say winds will be blowing from the east at 25 knots; and seas will be 8 to 11-feet. Seas will be slightly higher in the ʻAlenuihāhā Channel channel where rough seas are expected to be in the 9 to 11-foot range.
