The Wailuku Federal Credit Union is the newest business to break ground at the Maui Lani Village Center.

The Wailuku FCU has been at its current location on North Market Street for more than 40 years.

It will relocate to the new facility at Maui Lani upon completion, which is slated for March 2014.

“OWe have a proud history of serving the Wailuku community for the last 58 years,” said Craig Kinoshita, chief operating officer, in a statement.

“The new location enables us to continue that tradition while expanding the benefits and services we offer to our members,” he said.

According to a press release, the new facility will occupy 5,335 square-feet, nearly doubling the size of the current branch.
