Lahaina Keiki Pool Remains Closed Due to Waterline Repairs

The keiki pool and women’s restroom at the Lahaina Acquatics Center remain closed due to waterline repairs; but the facility’s 50-meter pool remains open.

County officials made the announcement today saying, “The waterline leak appears to be located under a concrete slab beneath the showers in the women’s restroom; contractors are working to pinpoint the leak and make needed repairs.”

According to county officials, the women’s restroom will remain closed until repairs are completed. Portable toilets, an outdoor shower and an enclosed changing room have been provided.

Repairs started on Tuesday, July 16, 2013.
