A motorcycle accident was reported shortly before 12:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 26, 2013 in the area of Maliko Gulch on the Hāna Highway.

The accident has since been moved to the westbound shoulder of the highway and was not blocking traffic.

The extent of injuries is unknown, however. An ambulance reportedly transported one individual to hospital for treatment.

The road remains open.
