Trash Service Missed in Haʻikū

Residential refuse customers in Haʻikū did not get their trash picked up today due to mechanical problems, County officials said.

Officials with the Solid Waste Division say affected areas include: Kauhikoa Road; Holokai Road; East and West Kuiaha Road; Kaupakalua Road; Pakanu Street; Haʻikū Road; Ulumalu Road; and all surrounding streets.

Pick up is expected to resume tomorrow, Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013.
