Honoapiʻilani Hwy Flipped Vehicle – Expect Delays

Emergency crews responded to a motor vehicle accident reported before 5:45 p.m. on 9/25/13 near mile 8.5 in the “Pali” area of the Honoapiʻilani Hwy, involving a flipped vehicle.

By 6:09 p.m., motorists on scene said at least one individual was extracted from a vehicle involved in the crash, and a rescue truck was leaving the scene.

At 6:18 p.m., motorists reported that traffic remained at a standstill in the immediate area.

At 6:26 p.m., we received reports that traffic was starting to move and that the accident had been cleared from the main road.

Motorists in the area can expect delays as traffic resumes its normal flow.
