Wailuku Welcomes Spring with First Friday Event March 6

Wailuku is welcoming spring with its monthly first Friday event on March 6.  The free, family-friendly community street party be held from 6 to 9 p.m.

Market Street will close at 5:30 p.m. to make way for the festivities.

Hawaiʻi’s “rocksteady band,” Hiriz, will be performing at the Maui Thing Stage, with “hillbilly funk” band Yum Yum Beast at the Wailuku Banyan Tree Park from start to finish.

The ʻĪao Theater will be presenting the classic musical “Annie Get Your Gun” at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available online  or by calling the box office at (808) 242 6969.

Additional events and entertainment will be offered including street magic, art, live DJ’s and benefits.

Show up to dance, enjoy live entertainment and great eats, and support local businesses and the community.

Free parking will be available at the Maui Medical Group parking lot.
