The male victim, who was in the bedroom with Lomae’s ex-girlfriend, was transported to the Maui Memorial Medical Center in critical condition, said Maui Police Lieutenant William Juan.

According to police reports, Lomae entered the Kahului home at around 1:45 a.m. on Friday, March 7, 2014, with a hammer in his hand

Police say he continued to the bedroom where he found his ex-girlfriend with another man. Becoming angry, police say Lomae allegedly struck the victim in the head with the hammer.
