Wākea Avenue Road Work Continues Through Friday

Maui Master Builders continues roadwork on Wākea Avenue in Kahului today.
Motorists are advised of detours in place along Wākea Avenue between Kahiki Street and Puʻunēnē Avenue.

That project is slated to conclude today, but another project along Wākea Avenue begins today between Kaʻahaumanu Avenue and Ano Street.
The work includes construction affecting the north bound lanes on Wākea. Contractors say vehicles will be able to use the south bound lanes on Wākea and will be able to make a right and left turn off of Kaʻahumanu onto Wākea; but cars will not have access onto Kaʻahumanu from Wākea Avenue.
The latest project is scheduled for completion on Friday, March 21, 2014.
