A small craft advisory is in effect for Māʻalaea Bay, the Pailolo Channel between Maui and Molokaʻi, and the ʻAlenuihāhā Channel between Maui and Hawaiʻi Island until 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2014.

Forecasters with the National Weather Service say winds will be blowing from the east at 25 knots and seas will be rough at around 11 feet.

The NWS advises mariners, especially those operating smaller vessels, to avoid navigating in these conditions.
