BRIEF: Mayor Takes County on Your Corner to Maui Matsuri

The next edition of Maui Mayor Alan Arakawa’s “County on Your Corner” event, will be held on Saturday, May 10 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the 14th Annual Maui Matsuri at University of Hawaiʻi Maui College.

Joining Mayor Arakawa at the May 10 event will be: Council Member Don Couch, Transportation Director Jo Anne Johnson-Winer and Executive Assistant Joe Pontanilla.

“It is important to connect with the community,” said Mayor Arakawa in a statement. “‘County on Your Corner,’ which will typically be scheduled in a different location each month, is a good way for members of my cabinet and myself to interact with community members on the issues that are of most interest to them.”
