Kīhei Fourth Friday Town Party Celebrates “Amazing May”

This month’s edition of the Kīhei Fourth Friday Town Party takes place tonight from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Azeka Shopping Center Mauka in South Maui.

Tonight’s “Amazing May Celebration” features entertainment by the R.E. Metoyer Blues, Rock & Soul Revue and Five Corners Band featuring Rosalind Modica.

Activities include food, art, crafts, shopping, a keiki zone, RC racing cars, and face painting.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food donation for the Maui Food Bank.

The schedule of events are as follows:

• 6 to 6:10 p.m.: Hawaiian blessing and invocation by Cultural Advisor, Kimokeo Kapahulehua
• 6:10 to 6:15 p.m.: opening announcements by Emcee Sista Val
• 6:15 to 7:30 p.m.: Five Corners Band featuring Rosalind Modica
• 7:40 to 8:55 p.m.: The R.E Metoyer Blues, Rock and Soul Revue

The Maui Friday Town Parties is an initiative developed by the Maui County Office of Economic Development to showcase Maui’s historic towns and celebrate the unique nature of their businesses communities.

There is a town party nearly every Friday of the month in the following towns: Wailuku First Friday, Lahaina Second Friday, Makawao Third Friday and Kīhei Fourth Friday.
