The Maui Historical Society hosts the latest edition of its Moonlight Mele concert series this weekend, featuring Grammy Award winning artist George Kahumoku and Friends.
The event takes place from 5 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, June 14, on the grounds of the Bailey House Museum in historic Wailuku Town.
The event also features local vendors selling unique island wares, and a beer garden with beer, wine and a refreshment concession stand.
Proceeds from the concert benefit the Maui Historical Society at the Bailey House Museum.
Cost is $20 for general admission; $10 for kamaʻāina, and free for children 12 years of age and younger. Tickets are available at the Bailey House Museum, located at 2375-A Main Street in Wailuku.
Attendees are invited to come early for a private tour of the museum, a walk through the gift shop, and viewing of a special Maui Historical Society exhibit.
The Maui Historical Society is the oldest historical and preservation society on Maui; and The Bailey House Museum hosts the largest collection of pre-western contact Hawaiian artifacts in Maui County.
