MIL Football Tonight: Sabers vs. Warriors

The 2014 Maui Interscholastic League football season kicks off tonight with Maui High and Kamehameha Maui doing battle at War Memorial Stadium.
The rare Thursday opener is the start of three consecutive nights of prep football on the Valley Isle. Tonight’s MIL contest starts at 7 p.m.
On Friday, Aug. 22, Lahainaluna faces King Kekaulike, also at 7 p.m. (live on ESPN 900AM radio). The Lunas are currently ranked No. 1 in Division II polls across the state.

On Saturday, Aug. 23, Baldwin will host visiting Edison (Calif.). Kick off is at 6 p.m. (live on ESPN 900AM radio). The Bears’ non-league game is a result of a first-week bye in the MIL schedule.
Junior varsity games precede varsity action, starting at 4:30 p.m.
