Kīhei Based Pool Business Celebrates 10 Years on Maui

Huber Pools, Inc. based in Kīhei, Maui, celebrates its 10th anniversary under the leadership of owner Hans Huber.

Hans called the recent opening of the company’s Kīhei showroom at the Kai Ani Village an “important milestone,” saying, “The showroom offers a one-stop shopping experience – clients and contractors can view images of our previous and current projects on our huge flat screen, get more information on construction details, equipment, finishes and more.”

The company has been featured at the top of the Pacific Business News’ “Hawaiʻi’s Fastest 50” list in 2007, when it reported revenue growth of 1667%.  Huber Pools has gone on to place in the competition an additional five times over it’s eight years of eligibility, according to company executives.

Over a decade the company reports it has completed more than 300 residential projects for homeowners and island contractors.

High profile commercial projects completed to date include: the Oceanside pool at the Sheraton Poʻipū; the Pool and Spa at the Airport Courtyard Marriott in Kahului; the pool, spa and BBQ area at Kai Ani Village in Kīhei; as well as many pool renovations at the Hyatt Regency, Kāʻanapali Ocean Resort, Fairmont Kea Lani, and the Māʻalaea Banyans.

The company is a member of the international Master Pools Guild, and the exclusive member from Hawaiʻi.  Huber Pools also earned the Luxury Pools Pinnacle Award in 2012, and annual gold and silver awards from the Master Pools Guild.

Hans Huber started out with a Hawaiʻi Specialty Contractor’s license C23 for gunite application and C49 for Swimming pool construction; and subsequently earned the General Engineering license “A” and General Building license “B”.
