Guests and crew aboard the New Piper vessel brought in a 484 pound marlin, caught not too far out from Māʻalaea Harbor on Sunday, Oct. 5, 2014.

The catch was reeled in after a 30 minute fight by Allyson Rose (second from left) from San Francisco, Calif., along with Captain Jeff Kahl, crewman Chimo Shipp, and Rose’s friend.
