Suspect Sought in Alleged Theft of High End Merchandise

Maui Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a male suspect wanted for alleged theft from an open business in South Maui last month.

The incident was reported on Monday, Sept. 29, 2014 at a business located within the Shops of Wailea.

Police say several pairs of high end sunglasses with a total value of more than $1,200 dollars was taken in the alleged incident.

Police described the suspect as a male between the ages of 25 to 35, standing 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 185 pounds, with tribal tattoos on both arms, and additional tattoos on both legs.

Police say the suspect was wearing light colored plaid shorts and a gray t-shirt when the incident occurred.
