Crews from the Maui Department of Water Supply are repairing water service lines in South Maui today, Friday, Oct. 31, 2014.

The work will result in the closure of the entrance to ʻIliʻili Road from South Kīhei Road between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Motorists are advised to follow traffic control and use Kaiʻau Place for access to and from ʻIliʻili Road during construction.

South Kīhei Road will remain open; however, personnel will be working on the makai (or ocean) side of the road so southbound drivers should drive with extra caution.

Water will be shut off at Cove Park only during repairs.
