UPDATE: Service was fully restored on Dec. 31, 2014.

UPDATE:  Water has been restored in areas other than from Keonekai Road to Keali‘i Alanui Place and from North South Collector Road to South Kīhei Road.

The Maui County Department of Water Supply is repairing a 16-inch main transmission line on the North South Collector Road off of Keali‘i Alanui Place in Kīhei.

Water has been shut off until approximately 6 p.m. tonight for the area between Welakahao Road and Keonekai Road and from Pi‘ilani Highway to the ocean.

Traffic is not affected.

Residents and businesses in South Kīhei are asked to conserve water until this evening.

Call the 24-hour service line at (808) 270-7633 if a water-related problem occurs or if there are any questions.
