In 2014, HWF and Bluecology joined forces to offer eco-tour expeditions in Micronesia that promote community efforts to sustain and enhance their traditional lifestyle.

The expeditions also served to provide a world model for sea turtle conservation, employing contemporary innovations such as solar power.

HWF will host a two-part trip to Palau and Micronesia this spring in an effort to support the ongoing exchange of ideas and to promote a sustainable way of life between these independent nations and world travelers.
