Valley Isle Gymnastics Closing After 10-Years of Service on Maui
By Maui Now Staff
Valley Isle Gymnastics closed its doors after 10 years of service in the Maui Community.
The company issued a letter to gymnasts and families in February, advising that the business would be closing its doors.
“Although we have not been perfect we have strived to maintain quality programming and service throughout the years,” the letter stated.
Company representatives went on to say, “The past nine-months have been trying after many changes in health and staff, we have decided that the standard of care that we have strived to maintain in the past is no longer feasible.”
The letter advised that some customers may be due refunds, which representatives said “will be processed,” however, they asked for patience during the transition.
Valley Isle Gymnastics was operating out of facilities at the corner of Alamaha and Wākea Street in Kahului
The company was the recipient of the Hawaiʻi BBB’s Torch Award for Business Ethics and a past recipient of the Maui County Small Business of the Year Award.
“Thank you to all of Maui for your support over these many years, it has been an amazing journey and even more special to see so many keiki grow up and flow though our doors since 2004,” company representatives stated in the notification letter.
