ʻUkulele Mixed Plate to Feature Performers & ʻUkulele Lessons
By Maui Now Staff
The Shops at Wailea and Mele ʻUkulele–a recently opened store at the center–will hold a ʻUkulele Mix Plate on Wednesday, March 11, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the courtyard. The event is a cultural series combining Hawaiian ʻukulele performances with hands-on learning.
Many of Maui’s best ʻukulele teachers and performers will be present to share their knowledge and talent. The series will be a regular event happening every other week and featuring different guests.
Mele ʻUkulele will provide loaner ʻukulele for the public to participate in introductory lessons for the evening. Learn the basics and a few strum-for-fun, sing-along songs from professional teachers.
Another event will follow on Wednesday, March 25.
