Pure Barre will open its first location in Hawaiʻi next month in Maui Mall. The ballet workout studio is expected to open April 1, 2015, and will offer free opening classes from March 29 to 31.

“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to bring Pure Barre to Maui,” said owner Kristal Thomas. “Pure Barre is not only an effective and fun workout, it is a lifestyle brand where women–and men–can inspire one another to achieve their fitness goals with a shared sense of community. I can’t wait to introduce newcomers to the beauty of the Pure Barre technique.”

Since becoming a franchise in 2009, over 250 Pure Barre studios have opened nationwide. The workout is designed to be an intense, athletic workout for all ages and fitness levels. Pure Barre incorporates low-impact, isometric movements using a ballet barre as an anchor. The exercise can be done every day and throughout pregnancy.

“The continued growth of Pure Barre studios across the country is a testament to the workout’s ability to quickly transform women’s bodies, and we couldn’t be happier to bring this experience to Maui,” said Carrie Dorr, creator and founder of Pure Barre.

The Pure Barre studio will be offering a five-week special of unlimited classes for $100. Visit the Pure Barre website to learn more.
