Lānaʻi Plan Review Slated to Continue After Budget Session

Lānaʻi residents expecting to continue the review of the Lānaʻi Community Plan update this month are advised about a change in the meeting schedule.

Planning Committee Chair Don Couch said review of the plan will continue after the budget session, and said he intends to devote substantial time in preparing the plan update, even though council has started its budget deliberations.

Couch said documents related to the plan need further review and preparation to ensure clarity when presented to the public.

Couch said the committee plans to schedule a meeting in concurrence with the Lānaʻi district budget meeting in April, with hopes of scheduling another meeting in May.
