‘The Maui View’ to Explore Proposed Hospital Legislation

“The Maui View” talk show will be televised live on Thursday, April 2, at 7 p.m. on AKAKU Channel 55.

Co-hosts Lynn Araki-Regan and Dr. Arleen Ricalde-Garcia will discuss proposed legislation that would give state hospitals the ability to enter into public-private partnerships to reduce dependence on government subsidies, provide access to private capital and to improve healthcare services.

Their guests will be Maui Memorial Medical Center Chief Executive Officer Wes Lo and Richard Clay Sutherland Esq. of the Maui Regional Board.

“The Maui View” serves as a forum in which to discuss current events and news items–from social and political issues to headlines and community events–that are of interest to women and the community at large.

The show will re-air on subsequent Thursdays.
