Maui lacks sufficient bike/pedestrian pathways, said Maui Bicycling League Chair Saman Dias.

“There are so many benefits that help both our economy and health to flourish,  said Dias. “Bike-pedestrian pathways, will help reduce traffic congestion and fatalities, increase public safety, support multi-modal transportation, increase tourism, provide more outdoor activities, reduce obesity and help the community become more eco-friendly.”
