South: Ankle/thigh high waves are expected today. The  best breaks could get a little bigger on the sets.

Screen Shot 2015-05-18 at 8.27.44 PMA small mix of southerly swells brings small waves through Wednesday. Storm activity in the Tasman Sea could bring us swell later this week, starting Thursday and into the weekend. Another slightly larger swell is possible on Saturday, peaking early next week.

A new northwest pulse is expected to build later today with another on it’s heels for the weekend.

Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
