Maui’s Caroline Absalom Wins 2015 Mrs. Hawaiʻi Title

Maui’s own Caroline Absalom won the title of Mrs. Hawai’i during an evening competition on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at the Neal S. Blaisdell Center.  Absalom advances to the Mrs. America pageant in Sevastopol, Russia on Sept. 26, 2015.

According to Absalom, the United States hosted the contestants of the Mrs. Russia pageant 25 years ago. Russia is now returning the favor on the big anniversary year.

Mrs. America was the first and remains the foremost competition for the married woman of the United States.  The Mrs. America website note that for nearly four decades, the event has, “epitomized excellence, professionalism and the celebration of family values and is supported by an office and full time director in every US state and DC.”

The winner of the Mrs America Pageant represents the United States of America in the internationally televised Mrs. World Pageant.

Also taking a title this weekend was Maui’s Flecha Tovar, who won the Ms. Hawaiʻi pageant earlier in the evening.
