Matson Terminals Operations Manager Kam Chun and Kahului Terminals Customer Service Representative Donald Dudoit presented a check for $9,500 to Maui United Way’s 2014-15 campaign, adding corporate support to the nearly $2,000 in contributions made by their Maui employees earlier this year.

These combined contributions will help support MUW’s 40 health and human service programs, targeting needs around education, income sustainability and health.

“Matson is both humbled and happy to sponsor Maui United Way’s enduring mission of sustaining a legacy that touches the broader challenges of Maui’s social responsibility,” said Chun.

“Maui United Way is grateful for the caring support of Matson’s employees and corporation as it allows us to provide much needed support to those in need, here on Maui,” said MUW President & Chief Professional Officer Laksmi Abraham.

Matson and its subsidiaries employ about three dozen Maui residents.
