KIRC Hosts Mahina‘ai Night on Friday, July 31

The Kahoʻolawe Island Reserve Commission (KIRC) will present Mahina‘ai Night from at its Kīhei boat house property. The event includes a guided tour of the KIRC’s new walking trail, live music by UH Maui College’s Institute of Hawaiian Music, food vendors and an opportunity to talk story with Kahoʻolawe history, restoration and culture experts.

Hawai‘i Diva Returns Home for Mozart Premiere

The Maui Chamber Orchestra and the Maui Masterworks Choral will present the island premiere of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozartʻs Great Mass in C Minor at the Maui Arts & Cultural Centerʻs Castle Theater. Under the direction of Maestro Robert E. Wills, the performance will feature of two choirs totaling 120 voices, a 42-piece chamber orchestra and four soloists.
