The County of Maui Department of Public Works will be readdressing roadway treatments in the Wailuku Heights Subdivision area starting on Monday, Aug. 24, 2015 as part of the county’s pavement preservation program.

Residents and motorists utilizing South Alu Road are advised to expect delays as traffic will be restricted to one lane closures.  Access to driveways will be prohibited due to drying time of approximately four to six hours.  Temporary walkways are being set up in designated areas.

Affected residents are advised to remove all vehicles along the roadway and shut off all irrigation systems during work hours while road treatment is being applied in immediate affected areas.
