Makena Beach & Golf Resort employee Ann Roberts has been promoted, and it’s not the first time.

She’ll be taking on the new position of Food & Beverage Operations Manager.  Roberts joined the Makena Beach & Golf Resort team in December 2011 as an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager.  Three months later, she was promoted to the position of A.M. Manager. As the new Food & Beverage Operations Manager, Roberts will act as second-in-command to the Director of Food & Beverage. She’ll provide additional leadership in all financial aspects of the resort’s four restaurants and eateries, and assist in all banquet/catering functions, nightly operations and the resort’s food and wine events.

“Ann’s strong work ethic and boundless energy has been a great asset to our Food & Beverage team, we are confident she will bring the same dedication to this new position,” says Leo Mallari, Makena Beach & Golf Resort’s Director of Food & Beverage.

Roberts says she looks forward to the challenges her promotion will bring.  “I have always had a passion for exceeding guests expectations,” she explains.  “With this new position, I hope to do the same.”
