Maureen Stubbs, meeting and events manager for the Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa, recently received the certified meeting professional credential.

According to the Convention Industry Council, the CMP credential is recognized internationally as the badge of excellence in the meeting, convention, exhibition and event industry. Qualifications for certification include professional experience, education and passing a rigorous exam.

“Receiving the CMP credential is an outstanding accomplishment,” said Toni Rojas, CMP, director of meetings and events for the resort. “Maureen’s extensive experience in the meeting and events industry coupled with this certification make her a great asset to the Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa team.”
