The Maui Department of Water Supply is repairing a broken valve at the intersection of Kolohala Drive and Kekaulike Avenue in Kula.

Water department officials say the repair of the valve will require the shut off of water until approximately 9 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 3, 2015.

All residents and businesses in the area bounded by Kolohala Drive and Copp Road and from Kekaulike Avenue to Kula Highway are being asked to conserve water by avoiding any unnecessary water use from now until 9 p.m.
