Jim Messina at The MACC Jan. 22
Jim Messina and his band will perform at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center’ Castle Theater on Friday, Jan. 22, beginning at 7:30 p.m.
As one half of Loggins & Messina, cofounder of the country-rock band, Poco, and member and key contributor to Buffalo Springfield, Messina sold over 20 million albums domestically and has left an indelible footprint on popular music.
Messina’s producing and engineering skills were instrumental in the success of the Loggins & Messina, Poco and the Buffalo Springfield recordings, which gave birth to a number of hits, such as Rock ‘N Roll Woman, Kind Women and On The Way Home.
“After all my years as a producer shaping other people’s music to be the best it could possibly be, I’m just enjoying focusing my efforts and abilities on my own identity musically,” said Messina.
Tickets are $35, $45, $55 and $65 (plus applicable fees).
