A visitor was transported to the Maui Memorial Medical Center in critical, life-threatening condition, after he was found floating and unresponsive while snorkeling off of Molokini on Friday morning, police said.

The 64-year-old man from Arlington, Texas, was part of a group taken to the popular snorkeling destination aboard a Trilogy boat.

Maui police say crew members were able to carry the man back onto the boat where CPR was administered.
