We have reports of a large tree that fell near Kamaʻole Beach Park I in South Maui at around 2:20 p.m.  There were no immediate injuries reported, and ocean safety personnel are now on scene roping off the area.  While authorities have not said what caused the tree to fall, Maui and the rest of the state are currently under a Wind Advisory due to high pressure building northwest of the island chain.
