The Maui Arts & Cultural Center will present the Maui Pops Orchestra’s Winter Pops concert on Sunday, Feb. 21, 2016, beginning at 3 p.m. in the Castle Theater.

Winter Pops will feature violin soloist Benjamin Baker. Born in New Zealand, Baker moved to the UK at a young age to study at the Yehudi Menuhin School.

He has won several prestigious violin competitions.

Baker will play two very flashy violin works: Poeme by Chausson and Faust Fantasy by Wieniawski.

The orchestra will also perform the William Tell Overture, Clair de Lune and the Polovetsian Dances.

Tickets are $15, $30, $40 and $50, with half-price students 18 and under (plus applicable fees).

Patrons who purchased tickets to all four shows in the Maui Pops series (Dec. 6, Jan. 24, Feb. 21 and March 20) received a 10% discount off each ticket price. The student discount does not apply to $15 tickets.
