Discover Healthcare Degree Programs Available on Maui
Bachelor’s and Master’s degree opportunities available on Maui will be discussed at a presentation hosted by the University of Hawaiʻi Center at Hale Makua Wailuku on Monday, March 14, 2016.
The session will cover requirements for a variety of degree programs as well as the application process. The focus is on preparing students of all levels, from recent high school graduates to adults returning to school. The session will include an opportunity to ask questions about UH distance programs in an informal face-to-face environment and will take place at the Care Homes by Hale Makua Dining Room at 2 p.m.
Degree programs currently available include Master’s degrees in Nursing, and Kinesiology; Certificates in Health Care Administration and Veterinary Assisting; and Bachelor’s degrees in Social Sciences, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, among others.

The University of Hawai‘i Center was established by the UH Board of Regents to facilitate the offering of select Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from UH Mānoa, UH West O‘ahu, and UH Hilo.
More than 1,300 Maui county residents have taken advantage of these programs and earned their degrees while continuing to live in Maui County. Many of these outreach and distance learning programs are structured for working professionals and students raising families.
