Kumu Kahua Theatre will present My Boy He Play Ball in the Maui Arts & Cultural Center’s McCoy Studio Theater on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 26 and 27, beginning at 7:30 p.m.

My Boy He Play Ball is a funny, deeply-rooted story of fathers, sons and modern Hawaiian identity written by pioneering author Tammy Haili‘ōpua Baker.

The play is about Boy Kahalewai, who is living the dream; he received a Division-1 football scholarship at a Mainland college, has a chance to play pro, with a loving family back home.
