Peter Liu Selected as MAPA’s Director of Marketing

Maui Academy of Performing Arts has hired Peter Liu as its director of marketing.

Liu moved to Maui in 2006 from Silicon Valley, where he gained extensive experience in digital marketing, software engineering and management.

While freelancing as a technology and marketing consultant, he served as a core team member of TEDxMaui and co-founded the Maui Social Media Users Group, which gave rise to a generation of savvy digital marketing professionals.

He is also an accomplished professional photographer.

Liu earned a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from Pomona College.

He has been involved in performing arts, theater and music at various times during his life.
