Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort, in collaboration with Maui-based business Adoboloco, has announced a new hot sauce blend. Resort-grown, freshly picked Hawaiian chili peppers will be integrated into Adoboloco’s line of products.

Boasting a rich mango flavor that embodies the essence of Maui, “Mangoes! Bumbye!” is handcrafted using all natural, non-GMO, farm-to-bottle ingredients free from fillers, refined sugars and oils.

“We’re continually developing our eco-friendly and sustainable efforts to push well beyond our LEED criteria. Creating our own distinctive flavor of hot sauce, and growing chili peppers in our backyard, gives guests a new way to experience the flavors of Andaz Maui and the island itself,” says Andaz  Executive Chef Isaac Bancaco. “We’re thrilled with the product and hope that ‘Mangoes! Bumbye!’ will give travelers a true taste of our home and a lasting memory of their stay at Andaz Maui.”

Inspired by Andaz Maui’s popular Bumbye Beach Bar, where the term “bumbye” encourages guests to relax and set their pace to “island time,” Adoboloco’s “Mangoes! Bumbye!” launched on March 2, 2016 and is currently in production.

Homegrown, sustainable and made with Aloha spirit, Adoboloco owners Tim and Summer Parsons along with their three children, began the company in 2011, generating instant success among the locals. Since then, the family business is now expanding nationally and has remained true to its roots by only using four to five ingredients in each 5-oz. bottle.

“It’s been an honor collaborating with Chef Isaac Bancaco and Andaz Maui to start a food growing operation on resort grounds,” says owner Tim Parsons. “We initially started talking about this a couple of years ago, so our family is so excited to see it come to fruition and look forward to many good harvests so we can continue to bring the flavors of Maui to guests and locals alike.”
