UPDATE: Honoapiilani Hwy Traffic Advisory, Accident Cleared
UPDATE: 9:27 a.m. 4/1/16, The accident has since been cleared. Significant delays can be expected as traffic resumes its normal flow. Some motorists report that they were sitting in traffic for about 45 minutes before getting through. At 9:45 a.m., Wailuku bound traffic was backed up to the Olowalu Stream Bridge.
Previous report: TRAFFIC ADVISORY: 8:21 a.m. 4/1/16, Emergency crews are on the scene of a traffic accident involving an overturned vehicle on the Honoapiʻilani Hwy (Wailuku side of McGregor Point). A temporary contraflow is in effect; however, there is a heavy backup of traffic in both directions.
