Mokulele Airlines will begin daily flights to California’s Imperial/El Centro and Los Angeles airports on May 23, 2016.

“We have to say a big mahalo to Hawai‘i for making us their favorite island hopper,” said Mokulele President Rob McKinney. “What we’ve been invited to bring to California is exactly what made Mokulele Airlines such a success here—highly competitive prices, convenient schedules, great service and on-time flights.”

Mokulele will continue to provide over 120 daily flights to O‘ahu, Moloka‘i, Maui and Hawai‘i Island.

Pets will continue to fly for free, and the first checked bag is $20.

Kids under the age of 11 will still get a 25% discount.

The US military and Coast Guard will receive discounts, and participants in the airline’s frequent flyer and business flyer programs will continue enjoying all the perks and amenities they’ve grown used to.

“We really wouldn’t have been cleared for takeoff in California if it weren’t for the support of the Hawai‘i market,” said McKinney. “To say thanks, any kama‘āina flying Mokulele in California will receive a 25% discount when they show their Hawai‘i ID. And of course, their pets will fly free.”
