Sae Design Earns Gold Pele Award
Wailuku-based Sae Design was one of the few Neighbor Island, woman-owned small businesses to be recognized at the 2016 American Advertising Federation Hawai‘i Pele Awards.
Winning five awards overall last weekend, Sae Design brought home the Gold Pele Award for its work with 808 on Main—a new restaurant in Wailuku Town.
Steve Kiyabu of Sae Design described the 808 on Main branding process as “a fun project, since it was a new restaurant right around the corner from our office in Wailuku. Not only were they a great new client, but they also became our favorite lunch spot.”
Owner Saedene Ota and her team of nine employees were recognized as one of the state’s top design and marketing agencies.
