UPDATE, NĀHIKU WATER CONSUMERS: (2 p.m. 5/3/16) Waterline repairs have been completed in the Nāhiku area and restrictions on water usage have been lifted. Water consumers may now resume normal water usage.

Update: The Department of Water Supply is requesting all consumers in the Nahiku area to conserve water and to avoid any unnecessary water use until further notice. A broken waterline which disrupted service for Nahiku residents has been temporarily repaired, but a crew is continuing its effort to permanently repair the line.

The Department of Water Supply is advising all Nāhiku consumers that there will be no water service possibly throughout the weekend and into Monday. On Sunday a crew will attempt to survey the intake in the area to assess the problem. Details will be released as arrangements are made for the provision of water.
