The Maui Police Relief Association awarded two $1,000 scholarships to senior high school students on Maui.

This year’s scholarships went to Tiare Matsuura, daughter of Sergeant Harry and Mrs. Kristy Matsuura; and Emma Pilotin, daughter of Eric and Joleen Pilotin and granddaughter of retired Major John Cluney and Colleen Cluney.

Both will be graduating from schools on Maui and attending four-year colleges on the mainland.
