Registration Opens for Realtors Presidential Scholarship Golf Event
The Realtors Association of Maui holds its 15th Annual Realtors Presidential Scholarship Golf Event on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at the Wailea Old Blue course. Registration is open to the public and closes at noon on Wednesday, June 1, 2016.
Check-in begins at 6:30 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m. Registration is open to the public.
Players will compete in a three-person team full scramble for the chance to win the team grand prize of $1,500. All first-time participants will be entered into a special prize drawing, and all players will be eligible to win the grand door prize and the ultimate Hole-in-One prize, a brand new BMW from BMW of Maui.
The day culminates with an Awards Luncheon at Manoli’s Pizza Company, where attendees can participate in live and silent auctions for prizes including complimentary rounds of golf from Kāʻanapali Golf Courses, King Kamehameha Golf Club and Maui Nui Golf Club, gift certificates for Roy’s Kāʻanapali, a two-night stay at the Wailea Beach Marriott Resort & Spa, and more.
The annual Golf Event is RAM’s largest fundraiser, with 100% of proceeds going to benefit the Realtors Presidential Scholarship Fund. Since its inception in 1989, the Scholarship Fund has awarded $519,000 in college scholarships to Maui County’s graduating high school seniors and past scholarship recipients.
Golf fees are $140 per person, including greens fees, golf cart and lunch at the Awards Luncheon. For those who don’t golf but would like to participate, tickets to the Awards Luncheon only can be purchased for $40 per person. There are also many opportunities to sponsor or donate for recognition at the Golf Event.
